Richard “Dick” Andrew Heller

RICHARD “DICK” ANDREW HELLER, 93, of Inman, SC passed away November 27, 2022, at Upstate Community Hospice House, Landrum, SC. He was born March 23, 1929, in Wheeling, WV to the late Franklin and Elizabeth Witzgall Heller. Dick retired from Nationwide Ins. Company and was a member of the American Legion of Beallsville, OH. In additions to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Melba Rose Durig Heller, three brothers Charles, Edgar, and Kenny, a sister Catherine. He is survived by his son, Richard A. Heller II(Kimberly) of Harper, KS; three daughters: Andrea Brozstek, Christy Nodine (Wayne) both of Inman, SC, and Sherri Reisz (Jim) of Evansville, IN; a brother, Ralph Heller (Pat) of Shadyside, OH; seven grandchildren: Miranda, Tracie, Shawn, Andrew, Christopher, Jennifer, and Jimmy; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. Visitation was held December 1, 2022 until the time of the service, with Rev. Dennis Hancock officiating, at Shadyside Nazarene Church, Shadyside, OH. Interment followed at Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, OH, with full military honors by the USMC and the American Legion Post#768. Online condolences may be made at ReasnerOfWellsburg.com.
