Ann DeStefano

ANN DESTEFANO, 94, of Weirton, WV passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at Weirton Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1928, in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine Prienzco Trabucco. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bart DeStefano (2005); sisters, Mary Griffith, Antoinette Paoloemilio; two brothers. Ann was Catholic by faith. She loved being with her family and making amazing Italian meals. Ann was the bookkeeper of the business she and her late husband owned for 41 years, DeStefano’s Pizza, Weirton. Surviving are her daughters, Sharon Ann Hall, Angela Thomas, both of Weirton, WV; sons, Frank Vincent DeStefano (Alisa) of Indiana, PA, Bart DeStefano, Jr. (Nancy) of Bellaire, OH, Joseph Robert DeStefano (Heather) of Weirton, WV; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Weirton. Additional visitation was held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 until the time of the funeral, with Reverend Tony Thurston presiding. Interment followed at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
