Thomas Anthony Balon

THOMAS ANTHONY BALON, 75, of Weirton, WV passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at home. He was born June 13, 1947, in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late Hubert and Margaret Ellis Balon. He was also preceded in death by a son, Quint Balon (2014); sisters, Carolyn Streho, Patricia Ann Chihocky (late John); great grandson, Jayce. Tom was a Presbyterian by faith. He was a United States Army veteran. He retired as foreman of the acid regeneration plant of Weirton Steel Corp. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Lorraine Lemley Balon; daughter, Danielle Taylor; grandchildren, Nathan Taylor II, Montana Todd (Tony), Lexis Taylor; three great grandchildren. Visitation was held Thursday, December 15, 2022 until the time of the funeral, at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Weirton, with Reverend Kevin L. Bowers presiding.
