Martha Kay Pollock

MARTHA KAY POLLOCK, 85, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Wheeling, WV. Martha was born on July 31, 1937, in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late David Orrin and Martha (Passavant) Liggett, Sr. In addition to her parents Martha is also preceded in death by her brother, David Liggett; and a brother-in-law Ronnie Dixon. Martha graduated from Wellsburg High School. She worked and retired as a Special Education Teacher Aide at Brooke County Schools. Martha is survived by her husband Norbert Pollock at home; three children, Matt Pollock, Kelly (Roy) Hudson, and Mark Pollock; one grandson, Eric (Cassy) Dewitt; one great granddaughter Penelope Dewitt; and one sister, Karen Dixon. Visitation for Martha was held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 until the time of the funeral service, with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. Interment followed at Franklin Cemetery.
