Natalie Ann Battista

NATALIE ANN BATTISTA, 94 of Weirton, WV passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Grace Cottage at Serra Village, Weirton, WV. She was born February 29, 1928, in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Lindsey and Helen Shakley Groves. She was also preceded in death by her former husband and father of their sons, Ralph Battista; longtime companion, Frank Valenta; sister, Wanda Paul. Natalie was the retired owner/operator of Creations by Natalie, custom draperies and interior design. Natalie was also a professional dancer. She also was an instructor with Arthur Murray Dance Centers. Surviving are her sons, Brad Battista (Jinna), Vance Battista, Derek Battista (Becky Gregson); grandson, Brandon Battista (Dani); great grandson, Nico all of Weirton, WV; sister, Nedra Schell (Lee) of Fort Worth, TX. Private family visitation was held. Arrangements entrusted to Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Weirton.
