Robert Brooks Pepper

ROBERT BROOKS PEPPER, 53, of Canonsburg PA, formerly of Weirton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from complications of congestive heart failure. Rob was Born on November 15, 1969 in Steubenville, Ohio to parents Franklin Pepper and Sharon Lee Byers-Pepper who both preceded him in death. Rob graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor’s degree in physics, where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. His career in computer programming began in 1994 with NYNEX Corporation in New York. He loved his work over the years on projects for US Steel, Hewlett-Packard, Highmark, and others. He liked the Pittsburgh area most of all but moved around a lot for his work. Taking time out to teach high school physics for a while too. He made friends easily with his entertaining ways, sense of humor, and great stories. He was in the process of writing a collection of those stories for a book to be titled “Friends, Family, and Other Tales of Woe”. There was always a story to be told about Rob’s everyday antics. Rob enjoyed the outdoors, going hunting, fishing, and camping. Music was another favorite pastime of his from the days playing guitar in a band to playing piano. He is survived by his two sons, Brooks and Ryan Pepper, who are his greatest joy and his younger sister Shana Pepper (Centerville, UT). He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial gathering will be planned for a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover final expenses are appreciated. Please consider a Venmo to @ShanaPepper.
