Billy Ray Reese Sr.

BILLY RAY REESE, SR., 91, of Follansbee, WV passed way Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Weirton Medical Center. He was born November 14, 1931, in Hollidays Cove, WV, the son of the late Harold and Iva Robinson Reese. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Rae Spear Reese (2017); son, Billy Ray Reese, Jr. (2011); brother, Donald Reese. Billy was a member of the 25 year club of WSX. He retired form Weirton Steel Corp. after 42 years in the plant protection dept. Surviving is his companion, Beverly Shingleton; daughters, Terri Burton (Dave) of Goodman, MO, Marjie Harris (Bruce) of Weirton, WV, Bobbi Morgan of New Cumberland, WV; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Visitation was held until the time of the funeral/committal service on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Weirton, with Reverend Larry Barkley presiding. Private burial was held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA. Condolences may be left at www.steelandwolfe.com.
