A group of friends, a good book, and free-flowing discussion… doesn’t that sound like the ingredients for a wonderful experience. The Brooke County Public Library will be meeting on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 5 p.m., in person and virtual, to discuss the book “The Code Breaker: Jennifer Doudna, Gene Editing, and the Future of the Human Race” by Walter Isaacson. You will receive the February book at this meeting. The book club is free and open to the public.
You can contact us for the Meeting ID and password if you want to join virtually from home. The book can be requested/placed on hold for free from https://wvreads.overdrive.com and/or by obtaining an actual copy by contacting the Library Director at 304.737.1551.
