RALPH ALVIN MOZINGO, 78, of Beech Bottom, WV, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his residence. Ralph was born on May 6, 1944 in Wellsburg, WV. He was the son of the late Herbert Reason Mozingo and Della Elizabeth (Crawford) Mozingo. Ralph retired in the Maintenance Department of Bethany College working prior for the City of Follansbee Water Department. Many will remember Ralph for always fixing items, hunting, fishing, trapping animals and working on wood; but most of all, for cutting the grave a Bethany Community Cemetery and working with his brother at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marcelene Grace (Bayless) Mozingo; a daughter, Rebecca Rowland; a great grandson, Robby Boran; and 11 siblings. Ralph is survived by his three step children, Linda Molnar and her husband, Jim of Humble, TX, Ella Weaver and her husband, Chuck of Follansbee, WV and Jack Clark III and his wife, Karen of Wellsburg; a step son-in-law, Luther Rowland of Follansbee; nine step grandchildren; 19 step great grandchildren; three step great-great grandchildren; two brothers: Tom Mozingo of Beech Bottom, WV and Paul Mozingo of Follansbee; numerous nieces and nephews; and especially his beloved dogs, Bella and Buttons. Family and friends were received on Friday, January 6, 2023 until the time of the funeral service, at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Minister Dan Harry, officiating.
