Richard Henry Tredway

RICHARD HENRY TREDWAY, 61, of Weirton, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2022 at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital. Richard was born on January 29, 1961 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late Harry Eugene Tredway Sr. and Norvelle (Mears) McQuillian. Richard worked as a Truck Driver for over 25 years. Many will remember Richard for his love of playing pool and his family especially his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his four siblings: Raynell Reintzel, Becky Tredway, Florine McQuillian, Robert Tredway and Jerry Tredway. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Deborah (Galyean) Tredway of Weirton, WV; two children: Tangena McGowan and Sam Elson; three siblings: Harry Eugene Tredway Jr., Floyd “Junior” McQuillian Jr., and William “Sam” McQuillian; 15 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Family and friends were received on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 until the time of the funeral service, at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Pastor Dan Copeland, officiating.
