Ethlyn D. Dellaria

ETHLYN D. DELLARIA, 94, a native of Burgettstown, PA passed away Wednesday, January 11,2023 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born July 19, 1928, in Burgettstown, PA, the daughter of Louis and Donzella Darras. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Louis Darras, Jr.; sisters, Frances Leiper, Donna Sutherland. Ethlyn was a member of Paris Presbyterian Church; an avid golfer winning many local awards at her favorite golf club, the former Pleasant Valley Country Club in Weirton. She loved traveling with her family going many places such as France (to be with her son Jon’s family to visit in-laws), China and Ireland (with her daughter Terry), Mexico (with her granddaughter Stephanie), and cruises (with her daughter Jody). She was the proud and loving mother and grandmother of sons, Jon Dellaria (Benedicte) of Alexandria, VA, Charles Boles (Cindi) of SC; daughters, Terry Wood (Cecil), Jody Dellaria, all of Weirton, WV; six grandchildren, Stephanie Svokas, Nick Svokas, Zachary Wood, Maeva Dellaria, Anais Dellaria, Amy Jones; three great grandchildren, Gage, Abbey, Alyna; nephew, Garth Lieper. Visitation was held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Weirton, where the funeral was held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, with Minister Tom Derby presiding.
