LEOLA GRACE TAYLOR PAINTER, 69, of Wellsburg, WV passed away January 17, 2023, at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. She was born February 18, 1953, in East Liverpool, OH to the late Edward and Bertha Doughty Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Eddy and Sherman Taylor, and a sister Donna Miller. She is survived by her husband, Theodore “Ted” Painter; a son, David Dight (Janet) of Wellsburg, WV; step-son, Jack Painter of Follansbee, WV; a daughter, Marsha Bassett (John) of Wellsburg, WV; step-daughter, Mary Lou Painter of Steubenville, OH; four brothers: Robert “Bob” Taylor of Beech Bottom, WV, Jay Taylor of Wellsburg, WV, Lester Taylor (Nancy) of Wellsburg, WV, and Bruce Taylor (Darla) of Florida; two sisters: Cathy Coen (Brian) and Shirley Miller (Rodey) all of Wellsburg, WV; and five grandchildren: John Bassett Jr., Tyler Bassett, Christopher Collins, Destiny and Cody Dight.
