Show CASA Love Fundraiser Set

Show how much you love and care for the children in the Ohio Valley this Valentine’s Day by participating in the “Show CASA Love” fundraiser Feb. 7-14. encourages Rhonda Stubbs, executive director of the Follansbee-based A Child’s Place CASA, an acronym for Court Appointed Special Advocates.
A Child’s Place CASA of Brooke, Hancock and Jefferson counties — a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for abused and neglected children — has teamed up with local businesses and organizations to kick off its 23rd season of service by offering matching funds for seven straight days up until Valentine’s Day. Every dollar that is donated to CASA by community members, either online or by check/cash, will be matched by generous sponsors.
There will be a daily streaming event, where information will be shared on how the campaign is going and to give more details about how A Child’s Place CASA is helping the children of the Ohio Valley, at www.go.rallyup.com/showCASALove2023 where you can see exactly how your donation is helping kids in our area.
Donations also may be made online at www.childsplacecasa.com/donate or dropped off at the CASA office, located at 613 Main St., Follansbee. The phone number is 304.737.4444.
The sponsor whose day raises the most money on their assigned day will be named “Our Valentine” for 2023 and a video presentation will be put together to thank and celebrate them. Look for information on the website and Facebook page.
Questions can be sent to Stubbs at [email protected] or at the Follansbee address.
