West Virginia Northern Community College will once again be offering a free low-impact aerobics class on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m. in the first-floor student room.
The class begins on Feb. 14 and ends on May 4, and enrollment is continuous through the class.
This is a low-impact class with an emphasis on cardiorespiratory endurance, strength improvement and flexibility. All exercise is done standing — there is no chair or floor work — usually to music that’s 128-140 beats per minute. Everyone is encouraged to exercise at his or her own level.
Registration can be completed online — search for WVNCC Community Education — or by paper on the first day of class for which attendees are encouraged to come early.
For information, e-mail [email protected]. The instructor is Carol Teaff.
