Bernadette (Barbato) Mozingo

BERNADETTE (BARBATO) MOZINGO, 73, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully at home on Saturday, February 4, 2023 with her family by her side. Born on July 21, 1949, in Newark, NJ, a daughter of the late Bernard Joseph and Sonia Barbato. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard Donald Mozingo on January 28, 2017, and her brother John. She graduated in 1968 from Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, N.J. Bernadette was a homemaker and member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Follansbee, WV. She was also a member of the Ladies of the Moose in Wellsburg, WV and the Follansbee American Legion. Bernadette is survived by two children, Bernard and wife Shelly Aguiar of Lewisburg, PA and Nicole (Kenneth) Cooper of Sistersville, WV; four step-children, Cindy Mozingo wife, Debbie of N.J., Chris (Wendy) Mozingo Rahway, N.J., Sherry (Leonard) Lewis of Nashville, N.C., and Kenneth Mozingo of F.L.; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren; her God-Daughter, Lisa Marie Casper; along with three very special friends, Jeannie Shipley, Ligia Cronin, and Stephanie Wyne. Visitation for Bernadette was held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, and again on Thursday, February 9, 2023 until the time of funeral services, with Rev.
