Fred Allen Shreve

FRED ALLEN SHREVE, 74, of Colliers, WV passed away on February 4, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born on January 24th, 1949 and Reader West Virginia to the late Richard Allen and Betty Lou (Smith) Shreve. He is also preceded in death by three sisters Penny, Nancy, Jean, one brother Albert Shreve, and one sister in law Lu Lu Belle Shreve. Fred was an Army Veteran in the Vietnam War, he was a trucker, tree trimmer, and part of the spray crew, a jack of all trades and a member of the Weirton Htz Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Joanne Louise (Harniss) Shreve of 53 years, two sons Quentin Wayne Shreve of Wellsburg, and Roy Allen (Holly) Shreve of Colliers, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one brother Robert Lee Shreve of Middleburn, WV, two sisters Peggie (Sam) Leek of Middleburn, and Darlene (Walter) Fiber of New Martinsville. There will be no service at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
