MATTHEW HAUGHT, biological father of B.E.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on March 10, 2023, at 10:15 o’clock a.m, the petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, is seeking to adjudicate that B.E., a minor child is abuses and/or neglected, and that MARCIE EBERT and MATTHEW HAUGHT, are abusing parents. The petitioner alleges, among other things, that health and welfare of B.E. is harmed or threatened by a present refusal, failure or inability of MARCIE EBERT and MATTHEW HAUGHT to supply the child with necessary food, clothing, shelter, supervision, medical care or education, and that there is no reasonable likelihood that the conditions of abuse will be remedied in the near future.
It is ORDERED that an adjudicatory hearing be held before the Honorable Jason A. Cuomo, Judge of the Circuit Court of Brooke County, West Virginia, Third Floor, Brooke County Courthouse, 632 Main Street, Wellsburg, West Virginia on February 22, 2023, at 1:15 o’clock p.m, and that MARCIE EBERT and MATTHEW HAUGHT appear to object or make other defenses to the relief requested herein. Failure to appear or otherwise make defense at such hearing may result in the termination of the parental and/or custodial rights of MARCIE EBERT and MATTHEW HAUGHT.
