Edgar “Butch” Erdman

EDGAR “BUTCH” ERDMAN, of Follansbee, WV passed away February 9, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born November 15, 1943, in Conneaut, OH to the late Edger and Viola Armstrong Erdman. He worked as a supervisor of train movements at USX and served in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Lynnette Erdman, two brothers Terry and Sandy Erdman, and a sister, Ginger Erdman. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cecelia Marie Hicks Erdman; four sons: Lloyd Erdman (Kathy) of Tidioute, PA, Jeffrey Erdman (Beth) of Greenville, PA, Corry Erdman at home and Bryon Erdman of Follansbee, WV; a daughter, Jennifer Hilko of Brookfield,OH; two sisters: Judy Church (Tom) of Conneaut, OH, and Jodi Acierno (Drew); twelve grandchildren: Courtney, Shelby, Ashley, Tristian, Jessica, Brittany, Brandy, Brianna, Elizabeth, Madox, Ava, and Ivan; ten great grandchildren: Elly, Parker, Laila, Annie, Payton, Arabella, Paisleigh, Aurora, Esme’, Caleb and Blakely. Visitation was held on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. The funeral service was held Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the funeral home with Elder Jack Ignace from the Follansbee Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating.
