Gary A. Haught

GARY A. HAUGHT, 67, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at home after a seven year battle with cancer with his family by his side. Born on July 26, 1955, in Follansbee, WV a son of the late William C. and Margaret Ellen “Marge” Haught. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephew, James “Jamie” Haught on July 31, 2022. Gary graduated from Brooke High School in 1973. He was in Banking for 42 years and retired as a banking manager. Gary was a member and treasurer of the Cedar Lodge in Follansbee, WV and a volunteer fireman with the Follansbee Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Marcy (Kearns) Haught at home; two step-children: Missy (John) Kavadas of Carrolton, OH, and Greg (Tanya) Crislip of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren: Jacob (Allison) Kopko, Ryan Crislip, and Logan Crislip; two brothers: Bill (Cindy) Haught, and Greg (Pam) Haught; two sisters: Nancy (John) Schwertfeger and Lesley (David) Kurcina, all of Follansbee, WV; along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Gary was held on Friday, February 10, 2023 and again on Saturday, February 11, 2023 until the time of funeral services, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with, Elder Joy Leasure, officiating, Interment followed in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee.
