Franklin “Frank” R. Little

FRANKLIN “FRANK” R. LITTLE, 76, of Weirton, WV, passed on to glory on Monday, February 20, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian after a brief illness. He was born September 16, 1946 in Weirton, the son of the late Guy Little and Lillian Lamp Little. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Oren W. Little and Floyd D. Little; and his nephews, Oren Gregory Little and Brandon Scott Little. He is survived by his beloved sisters, Bernice Vogel and Ruth Anne Foutty. In addition, his memory lives on in his nephew, Jeffrey (Dawna) Little; his nieces, Deborah (Rick) Lamb, Clara Little DeMarco, Leslee Little, Tammy (Mike) Hukill, Lori (Steve) Spann, Kathie (John) Little Antonetti and their families. He was referred to as “Uncle Frank” by so many friends in the community. He held his nieces and nephews so dear. He was a humble man who loved God, his family and his friends. He gave God glory for the many miracles he experienced in his lifetime. He was retired from the City of Weirton, where he was employed for over 20 years in the sign department. He was a member of the Gideons International and accompanied his brother, Oren, to many events where they shared the precious word of God. He enjoyed country music and was a regular at Country Friends, which was founded by his brother Oren, in Colliers, WV for many years. Visitation was held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 until the time of funeral services, at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Weirton. The service was officiated by Pastor Zachary Adams of New Life Church in Weirton. Interment took place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
