Charles Richard “Dick” Corbin Jr.

CHARLES RICHARD “DICK” CORBIN JR., 84, of Wellsburg, WV was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born May 26, 1938, in Wheeling, WV to the late Charles R. and Margaret Fry Corbin Sr. Dick to all that knew him was a strong and caring person who touched the lives of many. Dick retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as an overhead crane operator, and he loved working on the farm and fishing in his spare time. Dick was a faithful member of Grace Bible Church. In addition to her parents Dick was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret Louise “Midge” Williams Corbin who passed January 26, 2019, and a brother George Corbin. Dick was blessed with one daughter, Cindy (Richard) Adams and three sons, Chris (Christine) Corbin, Jerry Corbin, and Rich (Penny) Corbin, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and a brother James E. Corbin. Visitation was held Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, and again Wednesday, March 8, 2023 until the time of the service, with Pastor Steve Spence officiating. Interment followed at Independence Cemetery, Independence, PA, with full military graveside rites by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad. Online condolences can be made to ReasnerofWellsburg.com.
