WANDA JANE BARKHURST, 87, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on March 10, 2023. Her home was always open to family and friends, and she loved nothing more than cooking and baking delicious treats for everyone to enjoy. Wanda enjoyed playing cards with her friends in two different card clubs. She also enjoyed volunteering her time, as she served for decades on the board of directors of the Mary H. Weir Public Library. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Alton “Sonny” Barkhurst in 1998; and her sister, Shirley Quickle. Wanda will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her including her two daughters, Vicki (Dave) Stunda and Valeri(Mike) DeFallo ; Brothers, Jack and James (Carol) Cassella; sister, Janet Taylor; grandchildren, Shannon (Steve) Muro; Daniel (Brittany Roberts) DeFallo, Joseph (Christina Conforti) DeFallo; great grandchildren, Ryatt and Wiley Muro and Ella Drew DeFallo; and many nieces and nephews.
