Bernard Leroy Davis

BERNARD LEROY DAVIS, 83, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2023 at his residence under the care of his family with the assistance of Valley Hospice. Bernard was born on January 12, 1940 in Bellaire, OH. He was the son of the late Calvin Davis and Freda Davis. Bernard worked as a Truck Driver and retired as a security guard with Barnesville Hospital. Many will remember Bernard for his love of fishing and seating on the porch. In addition to his parents, Bernard was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Piper) Davis and a brother, Sherman Davis. Bernard is survived by his daughter, Peggy Doty; two grandchildren, Christina Davis and Kenneth Hall; a great granddaughter, Alexis Hall; and a sister, Susie Phillips of St. Clairsville, OH. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 3-5 p.m., at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee.
