GARY LEE ELLIOTT, 66, of Aberdeen, OH,formerly of Wellsburg, WV, died on March 26, 2023. Gary was born on May 13, 1956. Gary was the loving husband of Eva (Echols) Elliott, loving father of Melissa (Nathan) Powell of Southpoint, OH, Rebecca Vinsick of Perryopolis, PA, Joshua (Brianna) Elliott. Loving stepfather/friend of Randelle (Randall) Mitchell of Laurel, MD, and Jaclyn (Marcus) Yeager of Bedford, OH. Loving grandfather of Madison, Michael, Madelyn, Tucker, Travis, Reagan, Abrielle, Zoee, Jaxon. Gary was a loving brother to Judy (Keith) Sluzacek of Alexandria, LA, Robert (Debbie) Elliott of South Salem, OH, Mike (Walda) Elliott of Weirton, WV, Linda (Gary) Williams of Wellsburg, WV, Susan (Doug) Ossman of Jewett, OH, Brenda (Randy) Williams of Wellsburg, WV, Carol (Dave) Maude of Indiana, PA and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Bruce Elliott, Sr. and Doris Thomas Elliott, sister Diana Elliott, brothers Bruce Elliott Jr and David Elliott. Gary graduated from Brooke HS and West Liberty University with a Bachelor Liberal Arts. He served in the US Navy for 12 years. He worked many years at Weirton Steel and Koppers. During his life he was always willing to help others to put on a roof, mow grass or whatever was asked of him. Gary’s legacies of love and friendship will live on with those who knew and loved him. Visitation was held Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, and again, on Friday March 31, 2023, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Duray Aldridge. Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery with Full Military Graveside Rites by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad. Online condolences may be made at ReasnerOfWellsburg.com
