Adeline “Lena” Marie Ross

ADELINE “LENA” MARIE ROSS, 86, of Weirton, WV passed away on March 27, 2023. Born in Steubenville, OH, Lena was one of five children born to Giuseppe and Louisa Perrone. She graduated from Steubenville Central High School and was blessed to be a mother to four children, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was a fabulous cook, and would volunteer to host all the family gatherings. Her organizational skills, her flare for interior design and decorating made her home very welcoming. Very athletic, Lena loved to exercise. She enjoyed the outdoors and looked forward to going for a daily walk if it did not interfere with the Steeler game. She was a member of Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Weirton. Most of all Lena will be remembered as a good person who had a deep love for her family. In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her grandson, Hunter Fife, her brothers, Aldo and Frank Perrone; and sister, Jean Augustine; and her close friend, Daphne Bludis. She will be remembered with love by her husband, of over 40 years, Dennis Ross; hers sons, Peter and Phillip Fife; her daughters, Louise Ann “Lu” (Tom) Drizmala and Barbara Jean Ford; her step-daughter, Tracey Monroe; her sister, Lucy Haught; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and her close friend, ( Daphne’s daughter) Aimee Bludis.
