Kathleen M. Grossi

KATHLEEN M. GROSSI, 65, of Weirton, WV passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Kathy was born February 9, 1958, one of six children born to the late Dan and Dolores McGaughey Grossi. Kathy graduated from Weirton Madonna High School in 1976, After graduation she continued her education at a local beauty school. For years, after beauty school, she was employed at Duke and Duchess Hair Salon. Kathy then accepted a job on the production lines at Colliers Steel. She eventually finished her working career at Ball Corporation. Most of All Kathy will be remembered as a loving and caring person. This was very evident in her actions towards her nieces and nephews, and her beloved cats. She is survived by her two brothers, Dan and Rich (Maria); her three sisters, Maria (David) Robertson, Mary Ann Wells, and Dana Grossi; seven nieces and nephews; and five great nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, where Mass of Christian Burial was also celebrated, with Reverend Fr. Nathan Malavolti officiating. Kathy was laid to rest next to her parents at Saint Paul’s Cemetery.
