Kathryn Marie (Lauttamus) Hardsouk

KATHRYN MARIE (LAUTTAMUS) HARDSOUK, 87, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Valley Hospice, Trinity Medical Center West. Kathryn was born on March 25, 1936, to the late Andrew and Dorothy (Dennis) Lauttamus. Kathryn grew up in Follansbee, W.V. and went to Follansbee High School where she was a cheerleader. She was previously employed by J.J. Guida and U.S. Can., Weirton, WV. Kathryn was also a part of many social groups in the community. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, William E Hardsouk, a son Donald R Hardsouk and a great-granddaughter, Sofia Rae Palavis. Kathryn is survived by her two sons, James (Debra) Hardsouk and Ronald Hardsouk; eight grandchildren: Kristen (Anthony) Palavis, Erin (Matthew) Glowacki, Jessica (Rufus) Ward, Michael (Justine) Hardsouk, Emily (Douglas) Foster, Andrew (Laura) Hardsouk, Douglas (Page) Hardsouk and Sarah (Mason) Barnhart; 12 great-grandchildren: Kiara, Melia, Nikos, Jadeyn, Cooper, John, William (Will), Alex, Georgie, Rylee, Everlee and Sam; a brother, Ronald (Jean) Lauttamus; two nephews, Ronald (Shelley) Lauttamus and Richard (Jillian) Lauttamus; five great-nieces and great-nephews: Megan, Jack, Emily, Ayden and Avery; close family friends Adelma Salakovich and Donna (Gary) Robinson; and her church family of the Colliers United Methodist Church and St. Paul Roman Catholic Church of Weirton. A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at St. John Cemetery Haven of Rest with Reverend Scott Mapes officiating.
