Mary Alice Grattan

MARY ALICE GRATTAN, 53, of Dormont, formerly of Wintersville, OH passed away peacefully April 2, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. She was born January 29, 1970 in Weirton. She was a beloved wife for almost 30 years of Jim Grattan, loving mother of Alexander Grattan, dear sister of Diane (Michael A.) Plesa; Barbara (Buck) Coburn; Jim (Mary Ann) Fickes; Robert (Caron) Fickes; and Richard (Shari) Fickes. Mary Alice was preceded in death by her mother Dolores Chociej. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Mary Alice will always be remembered as a dedicated and devoted mother. She was always there to support everything Alexander did. She was very passionate about rescue dogs and she even volunteered her time at the Humane Society. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan. Mary Alice’s happiest place on earth was the Disney Parks, her family’s fondest memories of her were when they were at Disney. Arrangements by Beinhaer, Pittsburgh PA. Family and friends were welcomed Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the funeral home. A blessing service was also held Thursday at the funeral home.
