Edmond “Ed” M. Gray Sr.

EDMOND “ED” M. GRAY SR., 82, of Wellsburg, WV passed away April 12, 2023 at home. He was born April 25, 1940, in Follansbee, WV to the late Calvin and Mary Bailey Gray. He retired from Eagle Manufacturing, was a Marine during the Cuban Crisis, retired Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Calvin, Herman, and Gene Gray; and four sisters: Grace Woods, Alice Clark, Velma Gecic and Alberta Swiger. He is survived by his wife, Judith White Gray; a son, Ed Gray Jr. of Wellsburg, WV; a daughter, Dorothy Bertram (Scott) of Lockport, IL; four grandchildren: Michelle (Matt) Heaton, Mark Gray, Kayleigh Miller (Mike), Brad Bertram (fiancé Anna); and seven great grandchildren: Calin James, Caitlyn, Wyatt, Liam, Hunter, Sofia, and Nora Grayce. Visitation was held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. The funeral service was held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Htlaky officiating. Interment followed at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens Follansbee, with full military graveside rites by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
