WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS – ANALYTICAL EQUIPMENT
General Notice
The City of Follansbee (Owner) is requesting Bids for the following equipment:
- Furnish and install one (1) Finished Water Analyzer.
- Furnish and install three (3) ultralow Filtered Turbidimeter Analyzers.
- Refer to Specification Section 407560.
Bids for the Analytical Equipment will be received at the City of Follansbee located at 827 Main Street, Follansbee, WV 26037, May 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations:

Prospective Bidders may obtain the Equipment Bid Package for Bid at the Issuing Office (the office of Ghosh Engineers, Inc.). The bid package shall be emailed to prospective Bidders electronically. There is no cost for the equipment bid package.
Bidding Method
The Bid must be submitted in an envelope that includes the bid proposal price in the equipment manufacturer’s standard proposal format.
Time of Completion
The time of completion of this work shall be 90 calendar days beginning with the issuance of a purchase order.
Instructions to Bidders
Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders.
Bid proposals shall be valid for forty-five days (45) days.
Owner is exempt from West Virginia state sales and use taxes on materials and equipment to be incorporated in the Work. Said taxes must not be included in the Bid.
The City of Follansbee reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
