Stephanie Znoy Vucelich

STEPHANIE ZNOY VUCELICH, 97, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Born in Weirton on April 14, 1926, Stephanie was the daughter of Anna and Lawrence Znoy. After graduating from Weir High School in 1944, she worked as a telephone operator and eventual manager at the Weirton C and P Telephone Office. For many years she served as executive secretary to the president of A.O. Smith Company in Tipp City, Ohio. On May 12, 1951, she married the love of her life, Michael Vucelich. They experienced 64 lovely years of marriage until Mike’s death in 2015. Stephanie was also predeceased by brothers Joseph, Stanley, Michael, Louis, Edward, and Charles as well as her sister Helen Wetzel. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews and her loving, caring friends and neighbors of Tipp City, Ohio. Visitation and the funeral Liturgy of the Word were held Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, with Father Bill Matheny presiding.
