Herbert Simms Jr.

HERBERT SIMMS JR., 84, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at his residence. Herbert was born on July 19, 1938 in Clarksburg, WV. He was the son of the late Herbert R. Simmons Sr. and Ruby Evelyn (Wilmoth) Simms. Herbert worked at Weirton Steel Corporation as a Welder. Many will remember for his love of classic cars, hot rods and motorcycles. Herbert is survived by his two children, Terri Simms and Larry Simms and his wife, Kelly, all of Salem, OH; two grandchildren, Megan Simms and Kyle Simms; a sister, Betty Talbott of East Liverpool, OH; and several nieces.
