Sandra “O.J.” Welshans

SANDRA “O.J.” WELSHANS, 80, of Paris, PA passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at home. She was born June 21, 1942, in Colliers, WV, the daughter of the late Emerson “Bud” and Mary Amelia Perkins Welshans. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Welshans. O.J. was a United States Marine Corps veteran. She retired from the United States Government in the photo lab at Fort Eustis, Newport News, VA. Surviving are her sisters, Anita K. Welshans and Debra Taylor (Gene); brother, Kevin Welshans; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Weirton. Per O.J’s request, there were no funeral services. Interment followed at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA. Condolences may be left at www.steelandwolfe.com.
