Frank Patrick Notni

FRANK PATRICK NOTNI, 71, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Brightwood Center in Follansbee. Born on February 25, 1952, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Frank E. and Dora Marie (D’Eugenio) Notni. Frank graduated from Madonna High School in 1970. He retired from Weirton Steel Corporation after 25 years where he worked in the wire gang. Frank was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and an avid golfer a Pittsburgh Sports Fanatic, but his absolute favorite team was the West Virginia Mountaineers. He is survived by his companion, Katie Harper of Weirton, WV; his sister, Susan (Donald Jr.) Michaux of Follansbee, WV; two nieces, Michelle (Ryan) Scherich, Melissa (Bryan) Lyle, and a nephew, Michael Michaux, three great nieces, Ava and Addison Scherich, Gia Lyle, a great nephew, Camden Lyle; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. A vigil service was also held on Tuesday at the funeral home. A Catholic funeral mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, with the Rev. Fr. Jude Perera as celebrant. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mullenbach Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses..
