Stefani Marie Magnone

STEFANI MARIE MAGNONE, 41, of Weirton, WV, passed away on May 10, 2023, with her family by her side. Stefani was born on January 7, 1982, in Weirton, WV, to Rita Bellisario Chaliotis and Giuseppe L. “Pino” Magnone. She was also the stepdaughter of Athanasio “Naso” Chaliotis. Stefani graduated from Weirton Madonna High School in the Class of 2000. In her younger days, she enjoyed playing softball and basketball. Stefani was known for her sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. She was a caring and generous person who never held a grudge. Stefani was incredibly proud of her son Ty and cared for him with all her heart. She will be remembered as a caring mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. In addition to her parents, Rita and Pino, Stefani will be remembered with love by her stepfather, Naso; her son, Ty Alexander Lyon; her brother, Giuseppe M. Magnone (Rachel); her sister, Christina Gabriella Paladina (James); her nieces and nephews, Giuseppe Magnone (Shayna), Mia and Rocco Magnone, and Giana Paladina, as well as her great niece and nephew, Julian and Theo Magnone. Her visitation was held on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, where funeral services were held on Monday, May 15, 2023, with Fr. Tony Thurston presiding. Stefani was laid to rest at Saint Paul’s Cemetery. Stefani will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her ornery nature and kind heart will always be remembered. Rest in peace, Stefani.
