Agnes Marie Flasko

AGNES MARIE FLASKO, 89, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at Weirton Medical Center. A daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Schubenski) Tisik, Agnes was born on September 19, 1933, in Louise, WV. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Grant Flasko; two brothers, George Tisik, LT. Mike Tisik; and seven sisters: Mary Olexia, Margaret Kuchinski, Ann Stasky, Katherine Holmes, Helen Aftanas, Julia Tisik, and Stella Vilga. Agnes graduated from Follansbee High School, the class of 1951. After high school Agnes met the love of her life, her husband Albert Grant Flasko and they were married on February 11, 1956. Agnes was a member of the First Christian Church in Wellsburg and was a youth group leader with her husband. Agnes is survived by one son, Dr. Albert D. Flasko, a dentist, and his wife, Jackie and grandson Jacob; one daughter, Mrs. Deborah Albaugh, an audiologist, and her husband Mark; as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 and again on Monday, May 22, 2023 until the time of services, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating.
