ISABELLA CAMILLE JONES, 21, left her earthly home and went to her home in heaven on May 23, 2023. She is survived by her father Nathan, her mother Camille, and her younger sister Hannah, 15. Isabella was a rising senior at Queen’s University of Charlotte in the Art Department where she was pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Interfaith Studies. Isabella was a gifted artist and had a fiercely intelligent and creative mind. Her gregarious personality and desire to help others endeared her to her fellow students, faculty and the school administration. Isabella also served as a Resident Assistant for her sophomore and junior years at Queens. In her sophomore year she joined the Phi Mu sorority where she quickly took a leadership role on the recruitment team. Her efforts helped Phi Mu grow from just nine members to 20 members in the second year of her membership. She also was elected as Vice President of the Queen’s chapter, and she was President of the campus Interfaith Organization. Isabella loved animals, especially her cat Olivia, and she loved the beauty of God’s creation. Isabella loved to laugh and joke around with family and friends where her quick wit made her a formidable spar for anyone willing to take her on. Isabella and her sister were close, and they recently attended a Taylor Swift concert together where they formed a lasting memory that Hannah will keep with her for the rest of her life. We will miss Isabella incredibly during our remaining days, but we are confident that she is with Jesus in a place of unimaginable beauty, peace, and fellowship. A place without disease, conflict, anxiety, or stress. We will see her again when we cross over, and we celebrate God’s grace in her life and ours. “I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying ‘Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All of those things are gone forever. Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21: 3-5. This is the hope we believe and profess. We hope that through this earthly tragedy, you find comfort in God’s promise. The Celebration of Isabella’s Life will be at 11 a.m. on June 10, 2023, at Five Stones Church, 1117 Cuthbertson Rd., Waxhaw, NC 28173.
