Pure Watercraft to Hold Event

Pure Watercraft, a leader in marine electrification, is opening a new production facility in Brooke County.
In anticipation of that opening the company is offering the community a chance to meet with company leadership, explore career opportunities and learn about how West Virginia is poised to become the new center of electric boat-building.
The event is set for Monday, June 5, from 4-7 p.m. at the public boat launch in Wellsburg.
The new plant is being built at Beech Bottom at the old industrial park and hopes to employ 350 individuals by the end of next year, with the possibility to expand soon after.
Attendees will also be able to experience the Pure Pontoon Boat, an all-electric boat, which will be assembled at Beech Bottom.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
