WV Old-Growth Forest Program at the Library

Join us at the Brooke County Public Library on Thursday, June 8, at 7 p.m. for a WV Old-Growth Forest Program.
Join Doug Wood, a retired DEP Water-Quality Official and an Educator for the state’s Master Naturalist Program, as he talks about his quest in identifying Old Growth Forest (OGF) around the state.
Learn about the history of, how to identify tracts of Forest for preservation efforts, and about Bethany College Parkinson Forest and the Tomlinson Run State Park OGF. There will be a question and answer session after the program.
