Carol Sue (Urbin) Mallory

CAROL SUE (URBIN) MALLORY, 76, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. Carol was born on April 9, 1947, in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Michael M. Urbin and Joy L. (Heart) Hickenbottom. In addition to her parents Carol is preceded in death by her stepfather Thomas Hickenbottom; her beloved husband, James R. Mallory, Sr; a brother, David Hickenbottom; a sister, Shirley Gasvoda; and her father and mother-in-law, James and Thelma Mallory. Carol was a member of Hooverson Heights Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. Carol is survived by two sons, James (Jennifer) Mallory of Essexville, MI and Steven (Shannon) Mallory of Chesterfield, MI; two sisters, Beverly (Robert) Webster of McKinleyville, WV, Lori (Dan) Yost of Follansbee, WV; two brothers- in-law, Paul (Virginia) Mallory of Lincoln Park, MI, Jay (Christine) Mallory of GA, two sisters-in-law, Carol and Selva Mallory both of Follansbee, WV; three granddaughters, Emma, Ava, and Lily Schaefer, and her grandson, Tyler Hunley along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Carol was held on Friday, June 9, 2023 and again on Saturday, June 10, 2023 until the time of the funeral services, with Jason Roberts, Minister officiating at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
