Danny Six

DANNY SIX, 74, of Weirton, WV, passed away at 5:56 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton. Danny was born on October 19, 1948 in Steubenville, Ohio. He was the son of the late Fred Six, Jr. and Wanda Louise (Cline) Six. Danny was a 1967 graduate of Follansbee High School. He served proudly in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War receiving the Purple Heart. He retired as a Crane Operator from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. Danny was a former member of the American Legion Post 45, Follansbee. Many will remember Danny for his love of hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by four siblings, Johnny, Billy, and Gary, and Mary Lou Layman. Danny is survived by two children, Danny Ray Six and Diana Marie Pepe; five grandchildren: Jamie, Jessica, Addisyn, Cody, and Lindsey; a great-granddaughter, Aria; the mother of his children, Mary Diane Six; and numerous nieces and nephews.
