KATHY CHARLENE JOHN, 58, of Steubenville, OH died peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Valley Hospice Care North. Kathy was born on June 21, 1964, in Weirton, WV a daughter of the late Alton and Lois (Tennant) John; in addition to her parents Kathy is preceded in death by a son, Jason A. John on December 6, 2016. She graduated from Burgettstown High School and was a homemaker. Kathy was Christian by faith. Kathy is survived by two children, Michael Wayt of Windsor Heights, WV and Jessica Wayt of Steubenville, OH; four grandchildren, Leland Wayt, Landon, Lucas, and Lily Wayt; two brothers, Dan John of Follansbee, WV and David John of Masontown, WV; five sisters, Kayda (Mike) Lipscumb of Follansbee, WV, Kimmie, Barb, Susie, and Mary; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Kathy was held on Monday, June 12, 2023 until time of funeral services, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with John Stire officiating. Inurnment was held privately.
