NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR WELLSBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT CIVIL SERVICE EXAM
The City of Wellsburg Police Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for an upcoming Civil Service Exam, Saturday, August 26, 2023 for the purpose of establishing a certified list of applicants for future openings in the position of patrolman with the Wellsburg Police Department.
The City of Wellsburg offers a competitive salary, which includes holiday pay, sick days and vacation time, longevity pay and health insurance and retirement plans.
Applications may be picked up at the Wellsburg City Hall Second Floor, 70 Town Square, Wellsburg, WV, 304-737-2104, Monday thru Friday between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and are due back by July 28, 2023 at 4 p.m. Applicants must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license and birth certificate present at time of application. Prior to hiring, applicants must submit to a psychological examination, polygraph and background check.
