Brooke County Commission Bid Invitation – Night Vision Goggles for Brooke County Sheriff Dept.

BID INVITATION: NIGHT VISION GOGGLES FOR THE BROOKE COUNTY COMMISSION

The Brooke County Commission is currently accepting bids for the procurement of Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) for the Brooke County Sheriff’s Department.
This purchase is generously supported by funds provided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (WV DHSEM).
We are seeking bids from qualified vendors who can supply high-quality, reliable NVGs that meet the following minimum specifications:

  1. Generation 3 or higher
  2. Water and fog-resistant
  3. Adjustable gain control
  4. Secure mounting capabilities for headgear and/or helmets
  5. Minimum battery life of 30 hours
  6. Infrared illuminator functionality
  7. Two-year warranty or greater

Bidders are required to include the following in their bid proposal:

  1. Detailed specifications of the proposed NVGs
  2. Pricing details including per-unit cost, shipping, and handling fees
  3. Information about warranty and customer support
  4. Proven track record of timely delivery and customer satisfaction

Interested vendors must submit their sealed bids labeled Brooke County NVG to the Brooke County Clerk’s Office by 10:00 AM EST by Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Bids will be opened in a public session at the Brooke County Commission Meeting on Tuesday July 25, 2023, at 10:30 AM EST.
The Brooke County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities or irregularities in bidding, and accept the bid that is considered to be in the best interest of the department.
