Notice is given that SWN Production Company, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G70-D General Permit Modification for a natural gas production facility (samuel jones) located in Brooke County, WV..
Starting at the intersection of WV 88 and WV 27 (PA 844) go south on 88 for 7.6 miles. Turn left onto locust grove road for 1.15 miles. Then turn left onto Hukill Hill Road for 0.563 miles to the Sam Jones entrance.
Latitude and longitude coordinates are: 40.190507, -80.560554
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be:
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) 31.07 tons/year
Carbon Monoxide (CO) 61.34 tons/year
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) 68.00 tons/year
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) 0.07 tons/year
Particulate Matter (PM) 1.00 tons/year
Benzene 0.11 tons/year
Ethylbenzene 0.03 tons/year
Formaldehyde 1.03 tons/year
n-Hexane 1.86 tons/year
Toluene 0.11 tons/year
Xylenes 0.12 tons/year
Methane 9.33 tons/year
CO2 Equivalent 26,849 tons/year
Operations are planned to begin on or about September 08, 2023. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
