Dolores “Doe” (Williamson) Sachini

DOLORES “DOE” (WILLIAMSON) SACHINI, 98, of Follansbee, WV formerly of Gladden, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2023. Dolores was born on August 25, 1924, in Bolivar, PA a daughter of the late John and Lena (Claymeyer) Williamson. In addition to her parents, Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alphonse “Gig” Sachini on February 21, 2021; three brothers, Alex, Robert, and Jack; three sisters, Marnie, Ethel, and Donna; three nieces; and six nephews. Doe was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was an avid bowler, a donor to red cross bloodmobile, and a volunteer until the time of her death for WHI Women’s Health Initiative at Pittsburgh University. She was a cheerleader for South Fayette High School at Morgan, PA. She also liked to feed the birds. Doe was a proud mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going for lunch with her son Cliff and nephew Rich Budash and niece Pattie Valero. She also enjoyed going to the racetrack with Cliff and Ray Prantill. In her spare time, she loved nothing more than to visit her grandchildren out of town. Doe had a caring neighbor Jackie (Steve) Haddon who was always willing to lend a hand. Dolores is survived by her only devoted son, Clifford (Deborahann) Sachini of Follansbee, WV; three grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Clifford D. (Kiley) Sachini of Nottingham, PA, Mechall-Lee (Daniel) Clark of Louisville, KY, and Rachel Sachini of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister, Betty Stewart; a special god daughter and niece, Kathy Quarsima; and many many nieces and nephews. There was no visitation. Doe donated her body to the WV human gift registry. All services and inurnment will be held at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA, where Doe will be laid to rest next to her husband. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
