CARMEN STEPHEN SPEAR III, 56, of Wellsburg, WV passed away August 24, 2023, at Weirton Medical Center, due to a lifelong battle with lung disease. He was born September 4, 1966, in Steubenville, OH to the late Carmen and Josephine Lamanti Spear II. Carmen worked for Mountaineer Bolt in the 90’s, worked for High Pressure Water, for Wheeling Pittsburg Steel Corp., and was an electrical engineer as a hobby. Carmen loved animals, and he will be missed dearly. Fly high my “Buds”. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters Debbie and Tonya Spear. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Lyke Spear; a son, Danny Spear; his Aunt Jeannie Lamanti; sister-in-law, Janet Lyke Long (Jason); two brother-in-laws, Gene Lyke (Sara) and Bobby Lyke; mother-in-law, Anna Belle Lyke; and several cousins and friends.
