2023 Wellsburg Applefest Pageant Royalty Announced

The 2023 Wellsburg Applefest Pageant took place on Sunday, Sept. 24, in front of a packed audience at the Wellsburg Moose. Thirty contestants from all over the Ohio Valley competed in formalwear, sportswear, and outfit of choice categories for the opportunity to represent the Wellsburg Applefest, wich will be held Oct. 6-8. Pageant Director Shirlie Rogers will present the new royalty in the Wellsburg Town Square at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The 2023 Wellsburg Applefest Royalty includes: Prince: Michael Del Bello; Baby Applefest: Ellianna Sindeldecker; Little Applefest: Everleigh Rose Hutchinson; Sweetheart: Merida Buchanan; Princess ages 0-6: Charlotte Cook; Princess ages 7-9: Kylee Burdette; Queen ages 14 -18: Ella Burdette; Senior Wellsburg Applefest Queen: Kaylin Melnick; Beginner Queen ages 0-6: Ella Perrone; Beginner Queen ages 10and up: Alexia Shifflett; Miss Beauty ages 0-23: Journey Rose-Lyn Cunningham; Miss Beauty ages 2-6: Charlotte Cook; Miss Beauty ages 7-10: Kaylee Burdette; Miss Beauty ages 11 and up: Kaylin Melnick; Visiting Royalty and Pageant Hostesses: Alexa Loy – 2023 Miss Military Star Jr. Teen and Ava Shane – 2023 Miss Earth West Virginia Teen.
