ETHEL C. SUDDOTH CHIVERS, 86, of Wellsburg, WV passed away September 29, 2023, at Brightwood Nursing Center, Follansbee, WV. She was born April 8, 1937, to the late Richard Thomas and Sarah Alice May Suddoth. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Charles Sr.; a son, Kenneth C. Chivers, Jr.; two brothers, Thomas and John Suddoth; and five sisters: Mary Francis Ryan, Martha Markosky, Grace McAlpine, Betty Kins and Alice Yolch. She is survived by a son, Larry Chivers of Wellsburg, WV; two daughters: Patricia Scheider (George) of Steubenville, OH and Kimberley (Jeff) Rotman of Holland, MI; a brother, William Suddoth of Greenville, PA; a sister, Nancy Wolcott (Paul) of Erie PA; four grandchildren: Rich (Karen) Scheider, Daniel (Jess) Scheider, Caitilyn (Michael) Glover, and James Glover; four great grandchildren: Tera Palcic, and Elizah, Zoey and Noah Scheider; and seven great-grandchildren: Mason, Adalyn, Irelynn, Caleb, Ethan, Noelle, and Hayden. Visitation was held Thursday, October 5, 2023 until the time of the service, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. Interment followed at New Bethany Cemetery, Bethany.
