LUVADA MAE TENNANT, 79, of Wellsburg, WV passed peacefully surrounded by her closest loved ones on October 11, 2023. She was born in Harrisville, WV on December 8, 1943, daughter of the late Robert Hunt and Sylvia Villandre. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hunt and Sylvia Villandre; her stepfather, Donat Zotique Villandre; her brothers, John Hunt and Hubert “Pete” Riggs; her daughter, Tiffany Tennant; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and three nieces and nephews. Luvada was active in church and loved giving back to the community. She was Queen of The Red Hat Society in Corona, CA, and a national member of The High Tea Society. Luvada was a role model, friend, and mother figure to many. She is survived by her husband, Gary Eugene Tennant; her brother, Jim and his wife, Roberta Underwood; her daughter, Brenda, and her husband Terence Duffy; three in-laws; fifteen nieces and nephews; and seven amazing grandchildren: Teirria, Landon, Addelyn, Adler, Bradley, Sofia and Maven. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. Visitation was held on Monday, October 16, 2023 until the time of the service, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg.
